When we built the Home Dual Shot, we wanted to create the finest home basketball game on the market. We think we succeeded.
But with quality comes cost. While we think the HDS is a great value, we certainly understand that it may not be in everyone’s budget.
So for those who wanted Pop-A-Shot quality at a lower cost, we present the new Pop-A-Shot Dual Shot Sport.
We pared costs where we could, without sacrificing quality. The backboard and frame tubing, while not as thick as the HDS, are still durable enough to withstand years of use. We made other subtle changes, such as substituting infrared sensors for paddles scorers and reducing the size of the scoreboard.
But we also included features not seen in other games of the same cost, such as an AC adapter. So you can choose whether to power your game with electricity or batteries.
And most importantly, this 2-person basketball game includes the gameplay that Pop-A-Shot is known for: 10 total games, from the classic 1-on-1 competition to individual skill challenges; audio with 3 different music selections, sound effects (crowd noise and basket “swishes”) and an announcer who calls the game for you. And to make all of this easy to manage, a Control Panel on the front of the game.

Hi Mario, the Home Dual Shot allows you to adjust the height of your game. Its three height settings are 82″, 88″, and 94.” The Dual Shot Sport’s height is non-adjustable and 81″. The Home Dual Shot has 16 game modes and comes with 7 basketballs while the Dual Shot Sport has 10 game modes and comes with 4 basketballs. The Home Dual Shot tracks made baskets with our electronic, infrared sensors. Conversely, the Dual Shot Sport tracks baskets with paddle sensors that are triggered as the ball goes through the basket. The dimensions of each game are listed below!
