    Isaac

    Can we leave it outdoors

      Ben Pollard

Hi Isaac, the Indoor/Outdoor Dual Shot is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, so it can be left outside. It is weather-resistant but not 100% weather proof, so during periods of extreme weather, we recommend covering your game with our Indoor/Outdoor Game Cover and moving your game to a sheltered area or garage to add extra protection.

Can you really keep it outside ? How does it handle the rain ?

      Ben Pollard

Hi Chad, the game is powder coated in rust-resistant material and is designed to be weather-resistant, but it is not 100% weatherproof. In instances of extreme weather, we recommend moving the game under an awning or under some type of cover to add extra protection. We also recommend covering the game in our Outdoor Dual Shot cover during periods of nonuse to better protect against the elements.

Hi Pat, the 82″ height is from the bottom of the game to the top of the backboard. The backboard measurement from the top to the bottom is 21 11/16″ tall.

  5. Question

    Bud McQuillan

What is the difference between the indoor and the indoor/outdoor pop-a-shot?

    (0) (0)

Something wrong with this post? Thanks for letting us know. If you can point us in the right direction...

    • Ben Pollard

      Ben Pollard

Hi Bud, our Indoor/Outdoor Dual Shot (ODS) is able to be played both indoors and outdoors, while our Home Dual Shot (HDS) is meant for exclusively indoor use. The ODS backboard is made of plexiglass, while the HDS backboard is made of compressed wood. Both games have 16 game modes and 6 audio options. Both games also come with 7 balls.

Although the ODS is weather resistant, it can still sustain some weather-related damage if left uncovered outside in the rain or in extreme weather. As a result, we also recommend purchasing the ODS cover to add extra protection to your game. Additionally, we also recommend moving your game to a covered area or garage during periods of extreme weather to add extra protection.

In terms of product comparison, both games are similar, but the ODS’ height cannot be raised, while the HDS’ can. The HDS comes with extension tubes that allow the game to be raised, but the HDS is the only game that is able to withstand the extra height. In terms of the backboards, if you do decide to purchase the ODS, please do not tighten the rims too tight on your plexiglass backboard. If they are tightened too much, the plexiglass can crack or sustain damage.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I’ve also attached the dimensions of each game below. In terms of any more sales, I do not believe we have any more sales planned before the holidays.

      Home Dual Shot:
Length: 88 inches (folds to 37 inches)
Height: 82 inches (88 or 94 inches with extension tubes)
Rim Height: 65 inches (71 or 77 inches with extension tubes)
      Width: 46 inches

      Indoor/Outdoor Dual Shot:
Length: 88 inches (folds to 37 inches)
      Height: 82 inches
      Rim Height: 65 inches
      Width: 46 inches
      Weight: 50 pounds
      Weight: 58 pounds

Great product at an affordable price.

Great product at an affordable price. I have 3 kids and they have been playing this thing on/off since it arrived. Sits on our back porch, folds up when done and my 5 year old daughter can easily fold it up. Tons of fun for everyone. Noone can stop by without at least playing one game. Took us a couple hours to install was fairly simple. I do however recommend an updated youtube video for the duel shot as the instructions for the brackets were specific but we figured it out by looking at the picture online.

      Ben Pollard

Hi Sandy, our Indoor/Outdoor Dual Shot can be used outdoors! Its tubing is powder coated in rust-resistant material to help protect the game against weather. Although our game is weather-resistant, we still recommend covering it when it is not being used. Additionally, if possible, we recommend moving the game out of open air during periods of nonuse during extreme weather situations.
